In the honeycomb challenge, contestants have to cut out the specific shape without cracking the paper-thin honeycomb or they are eliminated.

TikTok appears to be the platform for the fans of squid game with billions of views. Users are creating videos attempting the honeycomb challenge in their own homes.
Digital Uncut found that #SquidGame has 44.9 billion views. #honeycomb has 1.1 billion views, #honeycombchallenge has 71.1 million views and there are113.3 million views on #squidgamechallenge.
Over on Instagram, the posts aren’t in the billions but certainly in the millions with #squidgame tagged in 1,022,812 posts.
#squidgamechallenge has 8,550 posts and the popular #redlightgreenlight is sitting at 43,401 posts.
The honeycomb challenge has taken the world by storm, flooding the globe with content creators replicating this precision-work challenge. The only question now is, what trends will we see coming from season 2 of squid game?
